Calling all Canadian planning students! Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 CIP/ICU Planning Student Trust Fund’s (CIP-PSTF) bursary program. All CIP Student members enrolled full-time in an accredited Canadian planning program are eligible to apply.*

Bursaries are awarded to students who are in need of financial assistance to support their education.

This year's bursary offerings are:

  • $5,000 - CIP Diversity Impact Bursary (three available)

  • $5,000 - Ages Foundation Diversity Impact Bursary

  • $5,000 - SOAR Professional Services Indigenous Student Bursary

  • $5,000 - College of Fellows Undergraduate Student Bursary

  • $5,000 - David Palubeski Bursary

  • $3,000 - Ted Fobert and Robert Tennant Planning Merit Bursary

  • $3,000 - John Bousfield Bursary

See CIP-PSTF's scholarships and bursaries page for more details.

And there's a bonus! Thanks to the generous funding of the Ages Foundation, each of our bursary recipients will be invited to attend (for free!) the CIP/OPPI national conference, ACTION, being held in Toronto, ON, from July 8 to 10, 2025. All recipients will be able to participate in the full conference and receive their honours in person.

Don’t delay – apply for a bursary today! The application deadline is October 11, 2024.

If you have any questions or concerns about the application process or eligibility, be sure to check out the FAQ page, or reach out to the Officer, Honours and Awards at impact@cip-icu.ca

*Are you a full-time student in an accredited planning program, but not yet a CIP member? It’s easy, fast, and best of all, FREE to join! Apply here for your CIP membership.
